Our Role

The role of the Field secretariat is to provide spiritual direction, administrative oversight, and strategic coordination for the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church across its territory. Field secretariat serves as a vital link between Church districts, local churches, and sabbath school branches, ensuring alignment with shared values and mission priorities.

Under the guidance of the president and secretariat supports governance, presides over executive committees, and strengthens institutional and departmental work. A key focus is empowering leaders through mentorship, training, and collaboration.

By fostering unity and encouraging innovation, the Union creates an environment where mission initiatives can thrive. Ultimately, its role is to support the church in sharing the gospel, serving communities, and preparing people for Christ’s return.

Our purpose is to nurture spiritual growth, strengthen local churches, and support life-changing initiatives. We work closely with conferences, missions, and institutions to ensure the church remains responsive to the needs of its members and communities.

Grounded in collaboration and integrity, we empower individuals to use their gifts in meaningful ways. Through strategic planning and engagement, we aim to build a strong, mission-focused church that reflects Christ’s love across our territory.
